Meet Team Dora Bailey!

This is Team Dora Bailey’s first year participating with Mamie’s Poppy Plates. They wanted to do something special to mark the ten year anniversary and birthday of their son James.

Dora was 38 weeks pregnant with James when her whole world changed as he was born into the arms of Jesus.

Dora wanted to partner with Mamie’s Poppy Plates to honor her sweet baby while supporting other grieving families and spreading the good work of Mamie’s. Their team has chosen to adopt a hospital and she has mainly used social media, email, and word of mouth about the fundraiser. She is also planning on doing a bake sale with her kids and donating all the proceeds.

Since their loss of James, Dora’s family has been blessed with the addition of 3 beautiful babies. As she looks back she can see God’s hand in the timing of it all.
