We are excited to welcome Linda Jenkins to the Mamie’s Board of Directors. Linda has her own story of loss and has been involved with Mamie’s since 2012. Linda is a regular monthly volunteer and was our volunteer committee chairman for our 2019 Poppy Party. Thank you, Linda, for all of your support!

From Linda – I am honored to join you and be a part of Mamie’s so I can help share the love and healing that I have found in the organization.

Here is the story to why I feel called to serve.
My Name is Linda Jenkins, and I am an Angel Mom.  In 2011 my first child, Annabelle, was born a sleeping Angel.  I was introduced to Mamie’s Poppy Plates when I met Sarah Adams, and she shared her story with me.  A few weeks later we received our very own Plate and it was such a comfort that we immediately hung it in our living room to share with anyone who enters our home.  These 2 events helped provide peace and healing in a difficult time, and guided me to realize that I wanted to continue to help other Angel Mom’s by sharing my story,  in the hopes I could give them a bit of the comfort Sarah gave me.  I have attended the Mamie “Race to Remember”  events since the very first year in 2012.  I soon found that I loved it so much I wanted to help behind the scenes and was blessed enough to  joined the Mamie’s “Race to Remember” committee in 2013.

I have loved being a part of the “Race to Remember” ever since then and sharing my story with others.   God puts the right people, in the right place, at the right time, and I am so blessed that he led me to Sarah and Mamie.  Mamies Poppy Plates is an organization I share with all my friends, family, and new Angel Moms I meet.  I am excited to see what God will do with this amazing organization and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of it.
