Mamie’s Poppy Party – Reimagined!

Pregnancy, infant and child loss is much bigger than just Arkansas. Imagine if all parents could gather to celebrate the memory of their child and walk together to bring awareness. We’re thinking bigger!

In place of our Poppy Party this year, we’re excited to launch a Virtual Mamie’s Memory Walk on Father’s Day! Given our current circumstances during these uncertain times, this is the perfect opportunity to honor dads and father figures while raising funds for the Mamie’s mission. Our virtual walk will allow families across the country to walk together anywhere and at anytime on Father’s Day to recognize their baby or child while raising funds for the Mamie’s mission.

Our mission is only possible because of your involvement. Our Poppy Party brings in the majority of our funding each year and without it, we are facing a $120,000 shortfall. We love our mission and want it to continue. With this being said, we need your help NOW more than EVER. Will you link arms with us and support Mamie’s in your community?

We look forward to the day we will be together again to celebrate our babies BIG! Until then, we’re getting back to the grass roots of our mission and that’s funding plates for families. We hope you will join us!

There are several ways to get involved!

  • Team Fundraising – Form a team and fundraise in memory of your child. Set up a fundraising page and share that page with friends and family and through social media, asking them to donate to the cause and walk a mile in their neighborhood on Father’s day in memory of your baby/child.
  • Virtual Walker – Sign up as a virtual walker either under a team or under the donate button. Our Poppy Party registration was $25 so we are asking you to donate that same amount and walk a mile on Father’s Day anywhere and at any time in memory of a baby or child.
  • Make a general donation. For every $50 raised, that’s a Poppy Plate we can provide to a grieving family.
