So much of what we do is focused on parents who are grieving. Child loss though not only impacts parents, but also those individuals  who are caring for them during that difficult journey. Here is a great resource for nurses, physicians and bereavement counselors offered through Arkansas Children’s Hospital. The Alliance for Grief and Loss is an informal coalition of helping professionals interested in grief and loss issues. The focus is on education rather than support and is open to anyone who would like to attend.

All meetings are at Arkansas Children’s Hospital Professional Building 1 (formerly East Campus) unless otherwise noted, have a program related to grief and loss, and are brown-bag lunch meetings. Please email goodmourning@archildrens.org for more information or to be added to the email mailing list for the Alliance for Grief and Loss.
